"Dear Jesus,
Thank you for the strawberries & blueberries & corn & carrots & cucumbers & ranch & little spoon & chapstick & birds.

"Worship is forgetting about what's wrong with you and remember what's right with God. It restores the joy of your salvation.
It re-calibrates your spirit. It renews your mind...
Is it easy? Absolutely not. But one of the purest forms of worship is praising God even when you don't feel like it, because it proves your worship isn't circumstantial."

You guide me with your counsel.
My flesh and my heart fail; but You are the strength of my heart and my portion FOREVER."

"A seriously neglected aspect of the art of appreciation is the habit of noticing... delusions keep us looking ahead or abroad for happiness, instead of enjoying the small pleasures right around us here and now."

"Dreams are still achieved one opportunity at a time...
The genealogy of success always traces back to mustard seed opportunities. Don't fail to seize the small opportunities because we're looking for the big opportunities. Do not despise small beginnings."

Above all: keep loving one another earnestly
(since love covers a multitdue of sins).
Show hospitality.
Serve one another
by the strength God supplies
in order that IN EVERYTHING God may be glorified.

1 Peter 4:7-11

"One day at a time -- this is enough. Do not look back and groan over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

"Being responsible for someone's childhood is a big deal.
We not only create our own memories, but we create
our child's memories."

My littles were sick last week and all the things I normally do were deserted as I spent extra time snuggling my little ones, soothing fevered bodies, getting up at all hours of the night, and trying to get something in the crock pot so we didn't have to resort to PBJ's for supper!

Now that they've recuperated, I'm facing long to-do lists to catch up and also prepare for traveling this next weekend. It can all be overwhelming at times, yet I'm so thankful everyone is back in good health and that these precious little people call ME 'Mommy.'

**and to kick-start a more consistent blogging routine, during the month of August I'm planning to share photos from InstaGram along with tidbits from recent reads that I've found encouraging or thought provoking. Stay tuned!

" 'If you had more time, you could get it all done.'
Nonsense. My definition of all would just grow.
And why is "done" a goal? If you discover something you love doing, you don't want to be done.
You want to do it every day!"
