Happy Thursday!

I do remember that I have a blog - and this post proves it!

It seems the past few weeks have been full of research, decision making, planning, and wedding preperations, though the highlight of every day comes about 9:30/10:00 when my amazing man calls to talk. <3

With my family traveling most of August and September and then spending all of November and much of December in Branson, there has been lots to do while I have time at home! I have been so amazed at how the Lord has directed and is pulling things together. I've already had some huge answers to pray -- a big thank you to those who have left comments and let us know that you've been praying!

For a quick peek at today...

We began the bridesmaids dresses with yards and yards of cranberry fabric...

...then Rachel and Anna (who will soon be another dear sister!!) developed our very own pattern from one of my favorite dresses. After taking measurements and doing the math, they drew the pattern: TotallyGAP 1219!!

You girls are amazing!! Thank you so much for coming and helping Anna -- we couldn't have done it without you!

[And ya'll should head over to Anna's blog and leave a comment with three big cheers!! ]

So, Bethany, what are your wedding colors-besides cranberry-colored dresses?? Will you be married in Nebraska? Your family's schedule seems rather tight if they will be in Branson till December, and you'll be married on the 19th! Brave! God be with you in all your planning- may He be glorified in your marriage!
Miss you folks!

Hello Bethany!
This is Annie; I was at your family's concert in Clear Lake with my sister, friend, and her family. (We were the ones who asked to take a photo with you.)
I just wanted to say congratulations on your engagement! I am excited to hear about the details of your wedding!
May God richly bless you both in your new life together!
Love in Christ,

What amazing seamstresses you have there. To make their own pattern. Of course I'd be amazed, I have all I can do to sew a straight line.

I love the color you chose. My bridesmaids wore the same rich color but the material had a brocade look.

Wow! So jealous of people who can draw patterns like that. Your wedding is going to be amazing and I can't wait to see pictures, even though you won't be taking them.

I know you're busy with everything going on, but sometime you should do a post on your photography story. I'd be interested (and I'm sure some other people would be too) in how you got started with professional photography and what kind of advice you have for those considering it themselves.
