Philippians 2:5-8

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

When God showed His love for the world in the incarnation, He did more than come to live in the world and be with humankind. He also paid a price for that love that left no question of it's authenticity.

Thank you for sharing this, Bethany! When I think of what Christ has done for us, the extent of the love that He has shown, it is amazing. How I thank Him for His great love and for the sacrifice that He made for us!

In the verse that you shared, Paul exhorts to "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus". Just as Christ humbled himself and served and loved others. So should we "follow in His steps. Follow the example that He has set for us. How convicting this is!

Thank you again for sharing.
