Perfect Love

If I truly love my Savior,
no sacrifice will be too great.
no valley too low.
no calling too hard.
no night too dark.
no path too lonely.
no discipline too painful.
no cross too heavy.
no service too lowly.

...if I truly love my God.

Perfect love.

The Father has it for me.

He gave the greatest sacrifice --
walked the lowest valley.
lived the hardest calling.
suffered the darkest night.
trod the loneliest path.
bore the heaviest cross.
was humbled to the lowest service.

...for He truly loved me.

Perfect love.

Glad to see your post. Wonderful thought. It's good to see you can trust God in even these difficult circumstances.

You haven't told us anything about yourself. Were you Hurt? You weren't in any of the pictures (that I could see). So I assume you took them.

But it's difficult to look at those pictures and not feel you were all at least bruised and really shaken up. I hope you are getting along OK. Lots of prayers are with you.

May LOVE always surround you (and your family.)

Richard, Your Old Threshers Friend

Good morning Richard! To answer your questions -- no, I wasn't hurt, thankfully. I did end up with a small bruise and a small scratch, and my muscles and joints were sore for a few days, but I consider that all very minor compared to what could have been!

Yes -- I did take the pictures. After everyone was safe, the camera was the first thing that we dug out of the wreckage...and I started snapping! I still am in awe every time I look at the pictures. God is so good! And thank you so much for your prayes. They make a difference.

Hi, Bethany.

I just had to point out that too (as in "too much") is spelled with two O's. :-D

Thanks for keeping us posted. People you've never heard of are praying for you guys.

Keep up the blogging!

Peace. --Jacob

Grrr....the two "O's" is remedied now! As I posted last night/early morning, I knew something wasn't quite right. I'll blame it on the late hour. [smile]

No Megan -- I didn't do anything special to this picture...I did crop it a little bit, but that is God's creation in its original beauty! [smile]

That is a very pretty picture. I love taking pictures like that. Some people say that good pictures have something in them- like say, a person or a building. But pictures like these have so much! You just have to look through them, not just at them.
I love all your pictures! And the words you choose are really nice, too. :)

God does have beautiful creativity...and I'm so glad He gave you the ability to see and snap that creativity!

"No discipline to painful" that is a hard one for me to swallow. Thank you for spurring me on to 'love and good deeds', sis!
