Apples, apples, apples!

Oh the joy of biting into a crisp, red apple...of cutting and cooking them to fill the house with smells of applesauce and pie filling...and lining our basement shelves with quarts and quarts of canning to enjoy this coming winter. Hmm-m-mm!

This post makes me long to see fall come.

Wowie! Did you do all 124 quarts in one day???? I also find it surprising that you have apples already. We usually don't pick until late Sep. or October! It must be a different variety or your season is way ahead of ours!

Ooooh that apple looks so delicious! I love the apple time of year. Came sooner for you than it does for us, that's for sure!

Love and miss you and looking forward to seeing you very soon! [wink]

Lots of hugs to you!

Apples are great, and applesauce is heavenly. You all did a lot of work! You must be enjoying the feeling of satisfaction at a job well done!

I LOVE apples!
That is a beautiful picture, too! What kind of apple is it, do you know?

Our family is starting an apple orchard, and we have several hundred trees planted--- hopefully adding about a thousand or two a year--- and our three-year trees have a few beautiful apples on them already!:-)

As much as I do love summer, you make me long for fall!;-D
