1 Timothy 1:5

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.

What if how beautiful we were depended not upon the shape of our face or on our weight -- but how much love was in our heart? Would we be beautiful?

Terrific quote! Thank you for sharing it.
Could you please tell, in a little more detail, who the quote is from? :D

The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman
must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman
is not in a facial mole,

But true beauty in a woman
Is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
With passing years-only grows!

Proverbs 31:30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

True beauty is reflected in our lives as we serve the King. Someone that fears the Lord will truly be praised! The love of Jesus in our heart is really beautiful and even reflects on the outside!

Hi Bethany!
I hope everything is ok with you and your husband after the earthquake yesterday.
It was all over the news here in Italy, and when they mentioned Virginia, I thought of you.
Please let us know that you are ok.
Many blessings,
Alice

Ahlgren's -- I wish I could! I read the quote somewhere several years ago, but when I copied it down, I neglected to copy the full name and where I read it. :P

Michelle & Alice --

thank you for your concern! We definitely felt the earthquake here, but thankfully there was no damage in our area (and only minor damage a injuries elsewhere).
