A quick tour...

of our home!

The living room

My husband's desk...

where he has LOTS of big law books!!

Doorways! Off to the left is our bedroom. The bathroom is there in the middle. And as you can see -- the kitchen is off to the right.

The cute little cupboard where I store my cookbooks, dishes, a few other appliances, and our glasses in the cool basket.

Back behind the kitchen is our guest bedroom, minus the bed. We did get a futon couch this weekend -- and just in time for company! We are thrilled to have Anna visiting for a couple days! And I had so much fun putting a few little knickknacks on the top of the desk...
My valentine's day roses. The toasting glasses from our wedding. Pictures. Candles.

...and a sweet wedding card we received.

We have a few pictures hung...and a few more empty walls to cover!
Its been so fun making this place 'HOME'. The Lord has showered so many blessings on us --and how He provided this beautiful house is definitely one of them!

The bedroom...

...and the closet...

...and a bookshelf!
I didn't move ALL of my 937 books out here, just some of my favorites....

...which still happens to be quite a few!!

The little corner where I do our laundry.

And we are back to the living room!

On the little table by the door we have a guest book -- and it is going to get a few more entries this week!! Hooray!! My family is scheduled to arrive in less than an hour... [big grin]

this post makes me smile Bethany! God has indeed richly blessed you. :)

your home is so neat, clean and welcoming! I love the newness of it all and how those walls are anxiously waiting beautiful photography to adorn them!

are you serious? that you have 937 books? hmm, then that means it'll take me a little while to catch up with you. wait...I haven't counted mine though, so I have no idea.

on another note, I loved your photo of some of the books up close ~ I looked quite a few of them up on Amazon and added them to my wishlist. {grin} the one that caught my eye the most was 'Choosing Gratitude' by Nancy Leigh DeMoss ~ it sounds like it would be so good!

Thanks for sharing; the pictures are so cheery, and I loved the tour!

Love you!

I haven't counted my books yet...... But it is my main weakness. I always am buying a new (or at least new-to-me) book! :) I have always wondered how many I have and how many I'll take with me when I leave. Right now, I can imagine leaving any of them! :)

Your house is so nice. You all are very blessed. :) I'm sure you are enjoying this time as a home-maker! You're certainly doing a wonderful job of setting up house!

Ahh, that is the sweetest home. It reminds me of when we first were married. We could move everything on one flatbed trailer. Now, 8 moves (we're military) and 4 kids later, it takes an entire very long moving truck!

It always amazes me how many comments you have on your blog! You're house is lovely, and the pictures were so fun to see! You certainly have made a nice place for your Prince Charming to come home to- so organized and clean: Helps to keep the distractions of messiness minimized, and leaves time for other things! As always, I am blessed by your posts! THANK YOU and keep up the good work!
