Four years ago...

I entered the world of blogging!!!

And now I sit here, knowing I should post something to commemorate the fact. But -- I don't know what to say...

...so I'll let YOU say it in the comment box!

Seriously -- I would love to hear from you and find out who visits my little home here on the web. It can be as simple as just leaving your name (or nickname if you prefer!)

Feeling long-winded and talkative?! Tell me how you found me! Or, if you prefer something humorous, tell me what color of toothbrush you have. Surely you've gotten a new one sometime in the last two years!! (If only I could be original and think of something creative like that again...)
smile

Blessings to you all!! I'm looking forward to what 2010 holds-- and continue praying that God will magnify His name!

"May all who seek YOU rejoice and be glad in You;
may those who love Your salvation
always say,
"The Lord be exalted!"
Psalms 40:15

I found your blog through Cheri at A Joyful Handmaiden I do believe ~ but that was years and years ago. {ok, I guess about 3 years or so}

And my toothbrush is pink & white I do believe. I remember that 2 years ago and it was hilarious... You made me laugh how you said "I hope you have a different toothbrush than you had 2 years ago..."

Love you dear and so excited to see God continue to do great things in your life. May He continue to bless you in your marriage.

I once went to Bethany's blogspot
to see what she was doing.
But now I use my Google Reader,
to keep up with her musing.

But once in a while, she gets all cute,
with posts requiring action.
So here I find myself typing a poem,
in response to her silly question.

My toothbrush is blue, I think it is,
Like I really pay attention.
Most of the time when I'm using it,
I'm in another mental dimension.

So there you are, dear Bethany.
I've laid it all out on the line.
With 68 comments before my post,
I bet you don't see my opine.

Hello Mr. And Mrs. Beasley!

Congratulations to the two of you. :-). A beautiful bride and a handsome groom, the two of you meant by God to be man and wife.

I'm happy to say that you saved a lot of money by not having your honeymoon in northern Alaska; the Aurora Borealis has been minimal now for more than a year because of the lack of sunspots.

Have you visited Luray Caverns yet?

I changed my toothbrush just after my comment two years ago. My "new" one is green and says Kroger on it. Maybe I should change it now, though it looks OK (and I do brush every day for two minutes, I keep track with my watch). Amazing inventions those clocks, and Stimudents (glorified toothpicks).

Hi!
My name is Nicole....

How did I find you??!

I'm not sure I remember very well...... Ummmmm..... It was a while ago, I guess. If my memory serves me right, you and I were rocking out in our footie sleepy pajamas. Though you were 3 months older than I, I'm pretty sure I was taller. I guess not much has changed since then... I am after all... The "built-like-a-tank-'tousin..." ;o)

Anyhoo.... Loving you lots!

Hey, my name's Stephanie. I don't remember exactly how I found your blog, only that I was blog-surfing one night about six months ago when I was very discouraged and stumbled across it. The most recent post was a picture of you and Dan, and you both looked so happy that it caught my interest. I ended up spending about an hour just reading your posts. Your writing encouraged me so much then, and has many times since then. Thank you so much for sharing, and congratulations on your wedding! Oh, and my toothbrush is blue and white.

And, because you take beautiful photographs! Congrats on the wedding and thanks for sharing

Hi, Bethany! I'm Abby Dart from NY. We found your family's blog a couple years ago from the MacDonald family singers website. I have really enjoyed following you all and seeing your photography. I love looking at your wedding pictures too. We got to hear your music last year and were extremely excited to see on your schedule that you were coming all the way out to NY! It was great to see you all in person and to share supper with you! I can't wait to have your family out again.
Congratulations and have a wonderful new year!

Hello! I'm not sure how I first found your blog...through your family's or vice versa, possibly through YLCF originally. (I also subscribed to "The King's Daughter" way back when and remember your family being featured in one issue's "A Day in My Life") I've so enjoyed reading and seeing what God has done in your life in the past few years; I started reading regularly shortly before Charissa was born. My toothbrush is mauve-ish with blue bristles...not my first choice, but hey, it was on sale. :) God bless!

Hey Bethany!
I met you through the Mallys because of Bright Lights...they told us about your family and we came to see you sing in Orlando. After that I started following your blog and eventually was able to have to take my graduation photos!
I'm so thankful for the godly example you set for me! Congratulations on your new marriage! God bless you! :)

Wow Bethany, I don't really know what to say either. I looked back through some of your first posts and wow, some of them feel like yesterday and I destintly remember pulling up your blog to find out what you guys were up to! But oh does time have a way of slipping by! It's hard to believe that our little sisters who were 9 and 10 years old then are teenagers now! (and Janae is taller than me!) Well, sorry this got a little longer than I had intended,:P Thanks so much for your friendship! I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us in the next four years! God Bless you Bethany!

I have been encouraged by reading your blog. I found your blog when I typed in "Trevor's Song" in Google search and your site was among the ones listed. I love reading your blog and can relate so much with you. I also love photography, reading and finding verses to cling to. I am encouraged how God brought you and your husband together and am challenged to continue waiting. I'm 23 and have never dated and know that God's timing is perfect. Waiting hasn't been easy, but I will continue trusting that God will bring a relationship about in His own timing.Blessings to you on your journey ahead! Katie Burkholder

We saw your family perform in Rowland Heights, CA at the Dortignac's church. We enjoyed the concert very much! We have been following your blog ever since. My daughter recently got married and she and her husband had a long distance courtship and engagement. They live in Indiana. Watching yours reminded me so much of theirs. They were so cute counting days, hours, minutes and finally seconds until the big day. We were so excited to finally see that your big day had come! May God bless you both abundantly!

Hi Bethany. I stumbled upon your blog while looking for another blog. I think you have some wonderful things to share and love your positive outlook. I have a question about your security. Are you concerned about your safety and the safety of your family? You are open and honest in your blog and I wondered if that was a concern of yours. I am a third grade teacher and I am always thinking of what I can and can not put on the internet. Sadly, there are a lot of strange folks out there who would like to hurt people and I think that we all need to be careful. What do you think? Christine
