recent ponderings...

The whole discipline of life is to enable us to enter into this closest relationship with Jesus Christ. We recieve His blessings and know His Word, but do we know Him?

Fruit bearing is always mentioned as the manifestation of an intimate union with Jesus Christ.

The saint who is intimate with Jesus will never leave impressions of himself, but only the impression that Jesus is having unhindered way, because the last abyss of his nature has been satisfied by Jesus. The only impression left by such a life is that of the strong calm sanity that our Lord gives to those who are intimate with Him.

Thanks for the post, Bethany! BTW, have you seen the new book entitled "Her Utmost for His Highest"? It is a biography on Biddy Chambers. I have not read it, but I am sure it is very good. Keep looking to Jesus!

Thank you so much! That was really encouraging. Thank you for posting such inspirational quotes and verses, it really challenges me to keep my face upward. May the Lord really bless you and your family. A friend let my family borrow your family's CD "Going Home" and I really enjoy it. Everytime I listen to "It won't be long" I cry. My grandmother has Alziemers and she will most likely go home to be witht the Lord very soon. This song really is what I know she would want to say. I was hoping to sing it at her funeral if it's ok with your sister. I've memorized most of it and absolutely love it! Thank you so much for putting so much time into making a CD to glorify God.

May you have a blessed Lord's Day tomorrow~

Dear Bethany,
Thank you so much! That was really encouraging. Thank you for posting such inspirational quotes and verses, it really challenges me to keep my face turned in the right direction. May the Lord really bless you and your family. A friend let my family borrow your family's CD "Going Home" and I really enjoy it. Everytime I listen to "It won't be long" I cry. My grandmother has Alziemers and she will most likely go home to be with the Lord very soon. This song really is what I know she would want to say when she won't be able to talk anymore. I was hoping to sing it at her funeral if it's ok with your sister, Rachel. I've memorized most of it and absolutely love it! Thank you so much for putting so much time into making a CD to glorify God. Thanks again!

May you have a blessed Lord's Day tomorrow~
