Daily life

"Man the fort! Watch the road!
Strengthen your flanks!
Fortify your power mightily!
For the Lord will restore excellence..."
Nahum 2:1

It is one thing to go through a crisis grandly, but another thing to go through every day glorifying God when there is no witness, no limelight, no one paying the remotest attention to us...

It takes God's Spirit in us to make us so absolutely humanly His that we are utterly unnoticeable.
Oswald Chambers

When I saw the title and the first paragraph, I was thinking you were going to take the post a different way and show how chaotic life can be. :) But, I like the way you really did it. :D

BTW, awesome Corrie ten Boom quote!

Very thought provoking quote, Bethany! Thank you.

BTW, this is my first time commenting...I've been a stalker for a little while. The pictures you posted a while ago of the donuts look SOOO yummy! I am just getting around to trying them out. But, before I do, I was wondering a few things. 1) When you say 'mashed potatoes,' do you mean freshly mashed by hand with milk/butter mixed into that (aside from the milk/butter listed in the ingredients) or the flake kind out of the box? 2) For flour, would 'King Arthur's White Whole Wheat Flour' work or is this a recipe that strictly calls for regular white flour? and, 3) What glaze recipe do you use?

Thanks...God bless and vaya con Dios!

Shalom,

Sydney :) ;) =)
