Classically Charissa

When someone has a birthday around our house, that usually means a photo shoot as well. I can't believe that Charissa is one already -- how she has grown! She isn't the cutest baby in Nebraska anymore, but definitely the cutest toddler! [grin]

Wouldn't you agree?!

So many dear expressions -- which one to choose?
I sure couldn't decide!

Doesn't that picture make you just want to squeeze her?!

Full of giggles!

In the first non-collage picture, she looks so much like Nathanael!

The following are the pictures I particularly love: Bottom left on the 2nd collage-- absolutely adorable! The one where you want to squeeze her-- how could you not ?! I love her laughing ones and,... oh. I'm done?

If she's not the cutest baby anymore than who is?! ;-)

Oh, Bethany, she looks like such a happy toddler! I think my favorite picture was in the first collage in her denim dress. Bottom left, to be exact.

Happy Birthday, Charissa!
All of those states, and one of the first ones was Michigan!
When you come back to MI next month, you'll have a new friend to meet that is also a #13!

Hi. Catching up. You and your family’s sites are the only ones I tend to follow. And I haven’t been very good at that lately.

It was wonderful seeing you back at Mt. Pleasant. You have become an important part of the celebration. Hope you signed a contract for next year. Your family affects a great many people there. (I noticed who got to hold the “birthday girl” on stage a lot. How lucky - for you both)

It was nice to talk with you for a few minutes. Sorry, I didn’t have my “ears” on. I don’t always wear them around machinery. But that makes it difficult to follow conversations with all the background noise. If I acted like I missed something, it was my fault. If I ever get to talk to you again I’ll try to be better prepared.

Just some thoughts:
I love the picture of you and your harp. Do you still get to play it much?
Liked your morning prayer.
Like your quilting - especially going back to the one with birds
You have some great quotes - you must read a LOT.
You’re photography, as always, is special. I think I mentioned once before that I wouldn’t want to give up color, but B/W offers some neat possibilities for mood and contrast. You use it well. (I found a special quote on photography, but it’s your site and I’m not sure if it’s proper to post it.) But when I read it I thought of you. It seemed to fit with your ideas and style.

Your new post photo is wonderful.

It is presumptuous to ask someone to do something you don’t do yourself. But for what it’s worth, both your‘s and Rachel’s sites are great and hope you can keep them up with your busy schedule. They both mean a lot to people. (No pressure - just encouragement.)

Prayers,
Richard

Just a thought....
Iron the sheet before you use it as a back drop. I don't know how many pictures I have taken with a sheet right out of the laundry and later it stands out.
