Pressing forward

Let this be thy whole endeavor,
this thy prayer,
this thy desire ---

that thou mayest be stripped of all selfishness, and with entire simplicity follow Jesus only.

-Thomas 'a Kempis

"...forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Phillippians 3:13-14

When I read the comments to your posts, it's really nice that you have so many friends that follow your site. And they follow because you are very special. You share yourself, your faith, and so many of your ideas. Plus some beautiful pictures.

It's a wonderful thing to be able to touch the lives of others.

(Those are also some great pictures of you that have been used the last few days. You've had some nice comments on them - and well deserved)

That really spoke to me, Bethany! My heart longs for that to be more of a passion and all-consuming desire in my life!!

I love that picture!
That verse is a really good one. I love it! It's so simple but yet it says so much. Press on! Don't worry about what is behind!
It's important (the verse) to me because I love witnessing when I can (we passed out 210 tracts on the 4th) It means-- Don't worry about what people think about you, don't worry about what happened with the last conversation you had with a lost person, go on and talk to the next person, and get closer to the prize God has for you!

Beautiful, Bethany!
Philippians 3 is one of my favorite chapters...! It's so challenging, and yet so encouraging! That paragraph by Thomas 'a Kempis is very good and true, too... Wow!
