Isaiah 57:15

"For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy:
"I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit."

Submission is an act of faith in which we are trusting God to direct in our lives and to work out His purposes in His time.

I was at a ladies meeting one day and the speaker said something about submission that put the word in perspective for me. She said, "Submission is 1% action, 99% attitude." If our attitude is a desire to submit to the Lord, our action will fall in place.

That is so good! I'd never thought of faith being tied into submission, but it is so true! Along with true submission has to come the trust that God will work His perfect will in our lives in His time.

That's quite a profound statement. I really appreciate that thought! Thanks for sharing that. In some ways, submission is like yielding to His timetable.

Lovin' and missin' you today! (((HUGS))) ;)
