I'm published!

Well, at least a few of my pictures are.

A good friend of mine, Avery Hitch, has authored several fictional books, and for her most recent one she asked me to do the photography for the cover! What fun it was to come home from our trip and find that Avery had mailed me the completed, published book.

I know as the author she spent countless hours writing the story, so the excitement for her is even greater -- but what a joy it is to see my work published! Such a delightful feeling!

Now I just need a few hours to read the book... [grin]

Cool!! Who are the kids on the cover? Are they your sibilings??
Ashley K.

The book is about a 'penny parcel' -- little Ashley, an emotionally scarred orphan, resulting in many struggles as she tries becoming part of a real family. For more details, check out Avery's web-site at: www.averyehitch.com

And yes -- some of the children are my siblings!

Congratulations, Bethany!!
That's exciting! It looks fantastic! Also, it's good to see you all made it back safe. By the way, amidst all of the excitement, did you ever find time to read the books that you took with you? God bless!! JConner

I think I was to ambitous, JConner, as no, I didn't get all of the books read that I brought on our trip! I did complete three out of the five, but the other two I'm still working on...I'm not quite half way through. Though now we are home again, and I don't have quite so much time! Maybe I'll have to wait until the next trip to finish them... :D God bless you, too! Greet your family from all of us!

How exciting!!!! What fun!! It looks like it turned out wonderfully! I had a few of my pictures in Natalie Nyquist's book "Quest for the High Places", but none of them made it on the cover. ;)
