God often takes a course for accomplishing His purpose directly contrary to what our narrow veiws would prescribe.

-John Newton

"I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
I will praise Your name forever,
And in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good."
Psalms 52:8-9

What an appropriate post! I love the quotes -- the one by John Newton is so true! Where did you take that picture?

I was thinking the same thoughts when I looked at those pictures of your bus and the whole Wissmann family looking on unhurt for the most part. Praise the Lord! It seems so contrary to what is (praising Him for a smashed up bus?), but He gives us so many blessings everyday and when a little calamity comes our way we realize how we are so protected by His strong arm everyday in the little moments. It has been amazing to me to see how much glory God has recieved in this event from your family and all the many comments that people have left. What a testimony to His goodness this has turned out to be!

Wow! What a GREAT post. I really appreciate that quote, and the Scripture goes along with it so well. I praise God for His hand of protection on your family, and for the purposes He has in the events you guys experienced this week.
