A testimony....

...of our Almighty God's protecting hand.

For more details of this morning's events, please visit our family blog.

UPDATE:

Never, NEVER, take life for granted.

I just got back from our wrecked bus. We were able to go back to the bus and pull everything out...or everything we could get to! As I sorted through the broken plywood, lifted up the collasped bunks, avoided all the splintered glass and jagged metal edges -- while looking for the things we needed, gathering our clothes, and digging for shoes, I was once again in total shock that even one person had walked out of the bus... let alone fifteen!

God is so merciful. I don't even want to think about the "if's" that are all out there. I could be posting on my blog an urgent plea for prayer for any number of my family members. But we are all here, hugging, laughing, crying, in total awe of what God did.

God is good. All the time.

"Oh the fountain of life is flowing still today, and it washes over me, yes it washes over me. Oh the fountain of life is flowing still today. I am COVERED by the blood shed for me!"

This was the song playing on the CD playing after I found out about the accident. It ministered to my heart!

We praise the Lord here also for you all. I personally know what it feels like to go back to a vehicle where God's hand protected the loved ones that are so special to me. Looking that the pictures sent alot of those emotions back to me tonight and that is because you have become family to me as well as to many others I'm sure. All I can say is nothing is to big for our God. God's ways are so much higher than ours are and for that I'm so thankful. I'm praying for you all that satan will not be able to use this as a foothold in any of your minds but that God will continue to use you as He has in the past. I don't mean to ramble on but I do want to share this verse that I was meditation on this morning. Isaiah 46:4 "Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." God is always faithful to His word. We love you and will continue to lift you before the Lord.

What an amazing story! I've heard about such miracles happening, but never to anyone I knew. This really brings home to me the truth that God is all-powerful, and will never leave us or forsake us. We'll be praying for you!

What an amazing testimony of Gods hand in your lives...

"Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed,
For I am thy God and will still give thee aid;
I’ll strengthen and help thee, and cause thee to stand
Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand."

God is SO good!!!

God's richest blessings upon you all!
