His good pleasure

All God's giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on God being with them.
-Hudson Taylor

"It is God who works in you
both to will and do for His good pleasure."

wonderful quote and pic. When thinking of how God used weak men, I think of Moses who didn't appear to be gifted in the area God had called him to, but he was used in mighty ways, because He walked along side of God and His wisdom. The very second he stepped away from that wisdom, his weakness shone through.

What a beautiful picture, Bethany! Thank you for the wonderful quote, and inspiring Bible verse to go with it. I need to remember that His will is working for my best...ALL the time!

Blessing to you!

That's so true, God does'nt need talent or wisdom, only willingness.
It is not what we do, But what He does through us when we let Him.

I really appreciated that quote, Bethany! How true!

Reminded me of 1 Corinthians 1:26-31:

"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

Praise be to God!!!
