I'm back --

Well, kind of.

For today, anyway. If you've been keeping up with our family blog at all, life has been busy! Yet in the midst of the "busy-ness," what a wonderful thing it is to always find peace and rest in fellowship with my Heavenly Father.

Nothing humbles the soul like sacred and intimate communion with the Lord;
yet there is a sweet joy in feeling that He knows all,
and, not withstanding, loves us still.

Sure looks and sounds like fun! Glad you all are enjoying yourself!

That quote by Hudson Taylor is precious and just what I needed right now. Yes, He knows all. He knows our shortcomings, our failures, and our needs, and He loves us still. What an awesome promise that nothing will change that!

Thank you, Bethany for your post! It was great to hear from you via your blog, and that quote was so meaningful, plus timely. What a wonderful promise to know that ALL things rest in His hands!

Yet--to experience His peace we must commune with Him. How simple, but yet so hard!

Missing you bunches, sis!

Love ya,
