Honest contentment...

What makes any calling noble is its being commanded by God, and what makes anything good is its being given by God; and that honest contentment consists not in persuading ourselves that our things are the very best in the world, but in believing they are the best for us, and giving God thanks for them.
ER Charles

"He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."
Psalm 23:3

Amen! Wow! That sums up contentment so beautifully and is just exactly what God's been teaching me lately. I couldn't have said it hearly that well!

See you soon!

Bethany,

Thank you for that GREAT challenge, and reminder! Once again, God has been working on me with this very thing, and your post was that needed boost!

May He bless you for being sensitive to His leading, and following through with what He shows you.

You, and your blog have, and continue to be such a giant blessing in my life!

Love you,
Abi

Hey Kristi!

The flowers in this picture are hollyhocks that line my grandparents fence -- aren't they so bright and beautiful?!
