Love is...Patient

"Love suffers long..."

This is the normal attitude of love; love passive; love waiting to begin; not in a hurry; calm; ready to do its work when the summons comes, but meantime wearing the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit. Love suffers long; beareth all things; believeth all things; hopeth all things.
For love understands, and therefore waits.

LOve is in the hand that reaches out
in the eyes that wish to see
in a heart given freely
in its time

I echo the compliment and question. :-) That is an absolutely beautiful picture!

What a neat quote. I can see where it could apply to our relationship with God as well as our relationships with others. Our love towards God is willing to wait, be patient for His timing, and jump when the summons do come. It bears patiently His answer of 'wait' with a meek and quiet spirit, and trusts Him fully to bring about His perfect plan in the right time. Truly love is the entire fulfilling of the law in all aspects of life!

The occasion?!

This past weekend we were at my grandparents house, and their church was celebrating its 100th year anniversary since it started. The flowers you see are what they used for table decorations. So creative, eh?! I had nothing to do with putting them together -- just had the easy job of capturing it all on my camera for Grandpa and Grandma! :D
